In 2015, they hit $10M in contracted ARR, growing 10x YoY without spending a single dollar on sales or marketing.


📣 How? The product was that good.


Plumbers (yes, plumbers) were literally referring each other to get access. Word-of-mouth fueled the entire first wave.


Fast forward:

🧰 The company expanded from plumbing into HVAC, electrical, and beyond

💸 Grew ACVs from $15K to $78K

📈 Just IPO’d, trading at a ~$9.4B valuation — 125x Bessemer’s original $75M entry


The craziest part?


Back then, the TAM for plumbing SaaS was estimated at just $600M/year.


Most VCs passed.

Bessemer didn’t.

The rest is history.

✅ Founders who deeply understand a niche

✅ Products so good they sell themselves


Don’t underestimate a startup just because the TAM slide doesn’t scream $10B.
