I spent 30 days trying to give away a VC cheque ... but there was NO ONE to take it.
Market is not the issue. Founders sending outdated, long, irrelevant pitches are.
Here are 6 questions you have to answer to finally grab VCs attention:
📌 Can you turn $1M into $100M?
This is the real question behind every pitch.
If you don't have a clear strategy for generating profit, no VC will deploy capital.
VCs don't need spreadsheets. They need to know you have what it takes to multiply their money.
📌 Do you have a clear path for the next 3–5 years?
"We'll figure it out as we go" is not a strategy.
Your roadmap should show how your product, team, and revenue will evolve over time.
Show your high-level plan for expansion and prove you're building with intent, not just vibes.
📌 Do you have industry connections to gain early traction?
It's easy to win over VCs when you're an established project - just show them traction.
But, if you're still in pre-seed/seed stages, you must emphasize your access: right partners, KOLs, other investors, and ANYONE else who can give you a leg up.
Prove you can get the right people talking about your product - FAST.
📌 What’s your track record as a Founder?
Early-stage VCs invest in Founders first, so highlight past exits and tangible successes to establish your credibility.
Communicate what makes YOU uniquely qualified to lead the project.
This is where you prove you're worth betting on.
📌 Are you bringing innovation to the market or just copying another project?
If your deck screams "X but on Solana," you're done.
Innovation doesn’t mean adding another vitamin to the market.
It means you're solving a real issue in a way that hasn’t been done well yet.
📌 Tokenomics vs macroeconomics
VCs aren’t just looking at your vesting schedule.
They’re asking: Does your financial model make sense?
In the current market, in comparison to your competitors, and in the context of macro trends.
Most pitches don’t fail because their idea sucks. They fail because they have no clue how to communicate it.
If you're a Founder who is building a project in stablecoins, payments, new technology, or infra AND can clearly answer my 6 questions - drop me a message.
That is very true.
