130 crore vs 12 crore — where are we really building?
Too many #startups in India are focused on the top 10% — India 1.
Urban, English-speaking, premium customers who already have plenty of options.
But real #India isn’t just in metros — it lives in small towns, in Tier II and III cities, in the everyday lives of 130 crore+ people who are still overlooked.
This India doesn’t demand luxury — it needs access.
Not 10-minute deliveries, but consistent service.
Not 100 apps, but one reliable solution that solves a real problem.
The next wave of iconic #startups will rise from the heart of #Bharat, not from the top of the pyramid.
If you want to build something meaningful, build for the 90%.

You are 100% right Parul. What we need is to create an ecosystem of homogenous, holistic projects around environmental sectors, addressing basic needs & that could be converted to a small local business opportunity, economy, do we have such projects, Yes, we do but need funds to develop one model for a town/village of say, 10,000 population. I would like to be the INTEGRATOR & have the base outline ready with lots of inputs/simple technologies that would generate self-reliant energy, organic fertilizers, soil enriching minerals, animal food, biofuels, wastewater treated to potable water. Invest to build one model, with various technologies/producers & build a cartel of solutions to implement it across Tier II & III cities. Please get me connected to such investors interested in doing good work with nature & also sustain.
